This hotel is an easy walk from cruise ship pier. The hotel is gorgeous!!!  Front desk staff pleasant and accomodating. Beautiful pool and pool area, small private beach and lunch grilled and served outside. Chicken sandwich superb!!!!  Drinks served to you on the beach. Free use of towels. SUPs, kayaks, snorkeling gear. Everything was perfect!!!!!  Will use them again when cruising to Bahamas. Worth every penny!

Wonderful, Relaxing Day in Nassau December 30, 2017
Reviewer: Traveler5510 from Grand Rapids MI
We decided to try the Resort for a Day since we really didn't want to walk around Nassau again.  We were surprised at how close it was, just a short walk from the pier as advertised. Upon arrival, we were quickly checked in and received our wristbands and headed to the pool area.  The lobby area, is very impressive as well. The pool and beach area are pristine and well stocked with towels, a place to change into your suit and plenty of places to relax.  The pool was cold, but the ocean water was delightfully comfortable and the views back toward the port area are nice.  We really enjoyed the QUIET as opposed to the constant din onboard ship as well as in the shopping area near the cruiseport.  We loved just basking in the quiet.  We want to compliment the hotel staff in the pool area, they greeted us right away and made us feel at home.  The lunch was very good, with the chef grilling on site.  The drinks were generous and tasty. Thank you so much for a great day.  We'll do this again!

Beautiful Beach Day December 7, 2017
Reviewer: Robin M from Rhode Island
Perfect beach day. Lovely grounds, pool, beach area, no crowds. Enjoyed seeing all the ships in port and had a great lunch. Easy walk from pier and a great value for our party of 4. We were just a little disappointed that the outdoor restroom and shower area was under construction, but realized the renovations have to be done at some point. I have recommended Resort for a Day to lots of people...so many locations! Best kept secret!

Day Passes British Colonial Hilton December 7, 2017
Reviewer: Erin from SLO, Ca
We had a group all go to the British Colonial for a day at the beach and it was amazing!!! Our server Omar was excellent. The drinks were great. I didn't order any food, but it did seem a little pricey. We basically spent the entire day in the ocean or in the chairs provided on the beach. I love that it's a private beach with no one bothering you.

Great Day in Nassau November 28, 2017
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
We've been to Nassau several times, and you simply cannot beat the British Colonial Hilton for relaxation and convenience.  A very short walk past the famous amphibian and you are there.  Not many cruisers have figured this out, since there were maybe two dozen people on the private beach all day long. The food was good, and the service was friendly. Very close to shopping for those so inclined, but many of these stores appear in every port, so why not do something different next time you're in Nassau?
