Resort for A Day offers Resort Passes for which islands?

Resort for a Day currently offers passes on: Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Bermuda, Cabo San Lucas, Cozumel, Curacao, Freeport, Puerto Vallarta, Ft. Lauderdale Grand Cayman, Hawaii, Jamaica, Nassau, San Juan, St. Kitts, & San Juan. We are always trying to grow our product offerings, so check back often!

How Can I Pay for my Resort Pass?

Depending on the resort you are either required to pay a small deposit or pay in full. Please check the payment policies of the specific resort you are looking at.

I have young babies, are they complimentary?

Many Resorts do have complimentary passes for infants & toddlers. Please visit the resort page to find our specific age requirements.

Does Resort for A Day offer transfers?

Yes - In Jamaica, St. Lucia and Curacao we offer transfers.

Do I have to be coming off a cruise ship to visit the resort?

Resort For a Day passes are only available for cruisers. Most resort passes can only be sold to customers coming off of cruise ships. However, San Juan Resort for a Day passes are also available to cruisers as a pre- or post-cruise excursion.

What is Resort for A Day's Cancellation and Refund Policy?

Resort For a Day refunds all deposits up to 11 days prior to your sail date. Within 11 days we are unable to refund your deposit however you will not be responsible for the remaining balance.

What if my ship misses the port?

All passes are valid and non-refundable rain or shine. All are fully refundable should your ship miss the port for any reason.

How far in advance should I buy my passes?

Space is very limited at our resorts. Book in advance to ensure your spot is secured.

Can I buy passes for every island my ship visits?

Yes as long as that island has a participating Resort For A Day.

Do I pay in full now or do I pay a deposit now?

Many of our resorts only require a deposit to be paid at the time of purchase. However we do offer some resorts that do require full payment in order to purchase a pass.

How can I save money if I am part of a group?

Yes - We offer a discount to groups of 16 guests or more in many destinations. Please contact us to check on the availability of group rates The discount applies to the pass, not the transfer. info@resortforaday.com

Do resort passes include a guest room?

Some of our resort passes do include guests rooms. However most of our resort pass only include use of the public facilities (pool, beach, restaurant).

If the hotel requires a room, is possible to purchase a pass for just the beach and pool?

Some Resorts require all guests on property to have a registered hotel room. At these resorts discounted pool/ beach passes are not available.

Are all resort passes “all inclusive”?

Most of our resorts have all inclusive passes, please check the resort description for complete details.

Are Resort For A Day Passes sold onboard my cruise ship?

No - Resort passes MUST be purchased online from ResortforaDay.com

Can I buy a resort pass at the port?

No - Resort passes MUST be purchased online from ResortforaDay.com

Must I print my pass or can I use my smartphone or tablet to check-in?

It is always recommended to print your pass however you may show your pass on a smart phone or tablet at check in.

Can I use my credit card to pay the balance at the resort?

Yes - Credit Cards are accepted at the resort for final payments. Some resorts are cashless and require a credit card for the balance due.

What if my ship changes the visit date while I'm at sea?

Our resorts will look forward to welcoming you on the new arrival date.

Is this a real vacation resort or timeshare?

This is not a timeshare property. We only sell passes to vacation resorts!

Can I use the lounge chairs and towels?

Yes - towels and lounge chairs are included with most Resort for a Day passes.
(The Viva Wyndham in Freeport,, the El Cozumeleno & Playa Mia in Cozumel and Sunscape Splash Resort in Jamaica are exceptions and do not include towels.)

Are child rates the same at all resorts?

No - Children's rates and age requirements vary depending on the resort you are visiting. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Are tax and gratuity included?

Yes! All of our Resort for a Day passes include resort tax and gratuity. Tax and gratuity for on site purchases are not included.
